This booklet is an addendum to the Early History of Independence, Oregon. Drawings are by Delores Newton White. Mrs. Cora Hubbard had written a paper to be read at a Women’s Club meeting in 1918. The article contained information told to her by early settlers. The names of many prominent pioneers are mentioned as well as each postmaster from the early 1800’s, horseback rider Mr. Lankester, to the post master appointed in December 1979, Mr. L.L. Brown. 10 pp.

100% of all profits from sales will go to the Heritage Museum Building Annex Fund.
