Accessiblity to our facility

We are housed in an historic building in the Independence National Historic District.There are several stairs at the entrance to our historic facility, there are several more to the basement where the restrooms are located. We apologize that there is no wheelchair access at this time.

Our goal is to purchase a wheelchair lift for our facility. As his senior project, a student, from Central High School, has modified a rear entrance to accommodate the lift. We are currently raising funds to purchase and install the lift, as well as modify restroom facilities for access to everyone. We’re sorry for the inconvenience, we are confident that very soon we will acheive our goal.
